Bryan wrote the story for the Oak Island video with his girlfriend, podcaster Brianna Lapaglia. Matthew Dillon Cohen directed it. He's done several Bryan clips, including "Nine Ball," which starred Matthew McConaughey, "Oklahoma Smokeshow," and "Boys of Faith."
You can find "Oak Island" on Bryan's latest album, The Great American Bar Scene, which came out earlier this summer. The singer-songwriter is taking a well-deserved break after spending several months on the road for his Quittin' Time Tour. He'll be back on stage for a set at Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville, Kentucky, later this month before kicking off another run of North American shows in mid-November.
