Jason Isbell Announces New Album

Jason Isbell has announced his new album, which will be his first solo acoustic LP titled "Foxes in the Snow", set to release on March 7.

This album follows the 2023 launch of "Weathervanes", which he created with his longtime backing band, the 400 Unit. "Foxes in the Snow" is significant as it marks the first record released solely under his name since "Something More Than Free" in 2015. The album was recorded over five days in October at Electric Lady Studios in New York City, featuring a 1940 Martin 0-17 acoustic guitar.

Below is the track listing for the album

This upcoming release will be Isbell's tenth since he embarked on his solo career with "Sirens of the Ditch" in 2007, after departing from Drive-By Truckers. He had been with the band since 2003's "Decoration Day", joining at the age of 24.
